Agartala, May 10 — A free eye check- up camp was jointly organised by Shantipara Senior Citizens’ Association and Ashwini Netralaya at Vivekananda Abas in Ward No. 20 under 8- Town Bordowali Mandal. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha graced the event and appreciated the organisers for their noble initiative. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Saha emphasised the importance of regular eye examinations and encouraged citizens to take proactive steps for eye health. He noted that such camps serve the community immensely and stated that the government is committed to strengthening public healthcare. He also assured that more such camps will be organised in the future. The event witnessed a large turnout, where citizens benefited from free eye screening and medicine distribution.
