The statement was made during the inaugural event of Saharsh Utsav 2025 , held at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan in Agartala. Dr. Saha, who also holds the Education portfolio, said the Saharsh curriculum, developed jointly by NCERT and SCERT, is the first of its kind in Northeast India. The initiative was part of a nationwide emergency preparedness exercise aimed at testing the effectiveness of disaster response systems in the event of natural disasters, enemy attacks, and other crises.
