  Agartala, Staff Reporter: A blood donation camp was organised today at the CRPF Group Centre, Lembuchhara, jointly by Rotary Club of Aspiring Agartala and CRPF. Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha attended the event, interacting with donors and motivating them for their noble act. Dr Saha personally handed over badges to the donors and also honoured several social activists for their outstanding contributions to society. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “Blood donation is one of the greatest gifts to humanity. Such initiatives help build a stronger and more compassionate society.”

Agartala, Sports Desk: In a proud moment for Tripura, international judge Tanmoy Das has been invited to officiate at the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2025, scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 18th to 25th August. Das, a former bodybuilder, coach, and President of the Tripura Body Builders and Fitness Association, is one of only two international judges selected from India. The other invitee is Sumitra Tripathy, President of the Odisha state body. Notably, Das is currently the only Bengali international judge in the global bodybuilding and physique sports arena. Speaking over the phone, Tanmoy Das said, “It is a proud moment for me and my state. Representing Tripura and Bengali heritage on an international stage as a judge is a great honour. I hope the Indian team achieves success in this championship.” The Indian contingent will be led by coach Araso Mounaguru and manager Leslie John Peter.
