Tripura to Launch 'Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan' from May 29 CM Manik Saha to Inaugurate State-Level Campaign at Bishramganj
Agartala, May 28 : In a major step toward agricultural development and farmer empowerment, the Tripura government will launch the ‘Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’ from May 29 as part of a nationwide initiative ahead of the Kharif season. The campaign will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha at Bishramganj, announced Agriculture Minister Ratanlal Nath during a press briefing at the State Secretariat. The awareness campaign, which will run until June 12, aims to educate over 1.72 lakh farmers across 864 locations in Tripura. The programme will focus on disseminating information regarding central and state agricultural schemes, modern farming practices, organic and natural farming, and the latest agricultural technologies including the use of drones.
