CM Interacts with Samajpatis Ahead of Durga Puja, Reaffirms Commitment to Janajati Welfare

ICAR-KVK West Tripura Successfully Conducts Training-cum-Input Distribution Programme on Integrated Organic Duck Farming

  News Report: Agartala, 10th September: ICAR–Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), West Tripura, in collaboration with ICAR–Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute (CSWRI), Avikanagar, Rajasthan, successfully conducted a two-day Training-cum-Input Distribution Programme on Integrated Organic Duck Farming under the NEH component from 8th to 9th September 2025 at Belbari, West Tripura. A total of 40 farmers and farm women benefitted from the initiative. Participants received ducklings, livestock feed, and essential veterinary medicines from ICAR-CSWRI. The programme’s objective was to promote sustainable livelihoods by integrating organic farming practices with duck rearing, ensuring both nutritional security and enhanced farm income for rural households.
