Ahmedabad , Gujrat India:   June 12 – In a heartbreaking turn of events, Air India Flight AI171, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner bound for London, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad’s international airport. The crash site in Meghaninagar has become the focus of rescue efforts and grief, with 242 people aboard, including 53 British nationals. World leaders reacted swiftly. Raj Bhavan Goes Green: Governor Inaugurates 40kWp Solar Plant in Agartala

  Agartala, June 6: A day after the world observed Environment Day, Tripura marked a milestone in sustainable development with the inauguration of a 40-kilowatt peak (kWp) grid-connected rooftop solar power plant at Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor in Agartala. Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the project on Friday, making Raj Bhavan one of the first constitutional buildings in the state to function entirely on renewable energy. The ₹30 lakh initiative was executed by the Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA) and funded by a renewable energy firm based in Odisha.
