Taking a resolute stance against the rampant usage of single-use plastic, the Sadar Sub-Divisional Ruler orchestrated a commendable operation across the bustling locales of Maharajganj market and Agartala city center. This concerted effort aimed to curb the detrimental impact of disposable plastic on the environment. During this operation, shops found in violation of the single-use plastic ban were duly penalized, resulting in the collective accrual of fines exceeding an impressive 10,000.


By spearheading this operation, the Sub-Divisional Ruler demonstrated visionary leadership and a commitment to sustainable practices. The fines collected not only serve as a deterrent for future infractions but also contribute to environmental initiatives that foster awareness and conscious consumer choices.
