The 18th Foundation Day of Tripura Medical College and Dr. B R A Ahmedkar Teaching Hospital was celebrated with grandeur, marked by the inauguration of the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium.

Distinguished guests, including Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and Legislative Assembly Speaker Mr. Ramprasad Pal, graced the event.


Dr. Manik Saha, the Chief Minister, played a significant role in the celebrations. He not only felicitated the students, recognizing their achievements, but also symbolically inaugurated the auditorium by cutting the ribbon. The highlight of the inauguration was the unveiling of a splendid statue of Swami Vivekananda within the auditorium, signifying the institution's commitment to holistic education and values.


In a symbolic gesture towards environmental consciousness, Dr. Saha planted a tree on the institution's grounds. This action carried a powerful message about preserving the environment for future generations. During his address, he emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy and sustainable environment, encouraging everyone present to contribute to this cause.


The event not only marked a significant milestone for the institution but also underscored its dedication to both education and environmental stewardship.
