All Tripura Diploma Engineers Association organized a Free Smog Test Camp for vehicles as part of an awareness program ahead of 56th Engineers Day 2023 to mark the 163rd birth anniversary of Sir Moksha Gundam Visveshwaraya. Pur Nigam Mayor Deepak Majumder was present as the inaugural function. Besides, Corporator Seema Debnath and others were present.




The All Tripura Diploma Engineers Association (ATDEA) demonstrated their commitment to environmental awareness and engineering excellence by organizing a Free Smog Test Camp for vehicles, in anticipation of the 56th Engineers Day in 2023, commemorating the 163rd birth anniversary of the renowned engineer Sir Moksha Gundam Visveshwaraya. This event, held in partnership with local authorities, aimed to underscore the vital role engineers play in addressing modern challenges, such as air pollution.


At the inaugural function, Pur Nigam Mayor Deepak Majumder's esteemed presence added significance to the event. His support and participation highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts between the engineering community and civic leaders in addressing environmental issues.


Corporator Seema Debnath and other dignitaries from the region also graced the occasion with their presence, further emphasizing the widespread support and engagement from the community. This Free Smog Test Camp served as a beacon of hope for a cleaner and healthier environment, as it not only raised awareness about vehicle emissions but also promoted responsible engineering practices in the spirit of Sir Moksha Gundam Visveshwaraya's legacy. In the run-up to Engineers Day 2023, this initiative demonstrated how engineers can lead the way towards a sustainable and cleaner future for all.
