Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha of Tripura emphasized the crucial role played by Panchayat representatives in delivering government benefits to all citizens, especially the marginalized. He made these remarks during a training camp organized by the Pradesh Training Department of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Udaipur on October 12.

Dr. Saha underscored that Panchayat members act as the government's interface, ensuring that the advantages of various government initiatives reach even the most underprivileged members of society. He spoke to Panchayat members from Gomati district, commending the Bharatiya Janata Party's commitment to the welfare of the people and lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's relentless efforts to enhance the socio-economic conditions of the underprivileged.

The Chief Minister noted that the state government is also operating under the guidance of the Prime Minister and called upon party officials to be devoted to addressing the issues faced by the people. He stressed that the party should demonstrate through their actions that they stand with the common citizens, which is essential for building trust.

Dr. Saha stated, "The Bharatiya Janata Party needs to demonstrate through their actions that they stand with the people. This is how trust can be gained from the common citizens. In this context, the representatives of the Panchayat play a pivotal role in ensuring the benefits of various government initiatives reach every member of society."

With the impending Lok Sabha election on the horizon, the Chief Minister has intensified his efforts across the state, emphasizing the need to strengthen the bond and develop a closer relationship between the party and the people. He specifically urged Panchayat representatives to play a pivotal role in connecting with people at the grassroots level, recognizing the vital role they play in the governance structure.

"Especially as members of the Panchayat Samiti, you have a crucial role to play in connecting with people at the grassroots level. Panchayat representatives must work with greater sincerity," Dr. Saha urged.

The event in Udaipur saw the presence of prominent political figures, including BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Tinku Roy, and MLA Abhishek Debroy. It showcased the party's dedication to engaging with grassroots representatives to ensure the efficient implementation of government programs and policies that benefit all segments of society.
