Justice Delayed: Journalists Commemorate Sudipto Datta Bhoumik's Murder on his death anniversary.




AGARTALA, Tripura - Seven years after the brutal murder of journalist Sudipto Datta Bhoumik on November 21st, media professionals continue their relentless pursuit of justice.


On the anniversary of his tragic death at the Tripura State Rifles' Second Battalion headquarters, journalists gathered at Rabindra Bhavan square, lighting candles and renewing their commitment to seek accountability.


Prominent journalists including Sanit Deb Roy and Subal Dey, along with Editor Pranab Sarkar, demanded a thorough investigation. They emphasized that until the perpetrators are brought to justice, their movement will persist.


The journalists united in their call for:

- Comprehensive CBI investigation

- Justice for Sudipto Datta Bhoumik

- Punishment for those responsible for the heinous crime


Despite seven years passing since the incident, the lack of closure continues to haunt the journalistic community in Tripura. The memorial event served as a powerful reminder of the ongoing struggle for truth and accountability.


The journalists' resolve remains unbroken, symbolizing their commitment to press freedom and justice for their fallen colleague.
