On 27 November 2024, the Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT) in Narsingarh, Agartala, witnessed a momentous occasion marking significant milestones in institutional development and social service.

The day commenced with an inspiring blood donation camp, where Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha personally engaged with student donors. Demonstrating his commitment to community service, the CM interacted with each donor, pinning badges and commending their altruistic spirit.


The highlight of the event was the inauguration of a state-of-the-art auditorium, symbolizing the institute's progressive vision. Chief Minister Saha formally unveiled the facility, marking a transformative moment for TIT's academic infrastructure.

During the ceremony, the institute's principal warmly welcomed the CM, felicitating him with a traditional "Risha" and floral bouquet. The national anthem resonated through the hall, reinforcing a sense of patriotic pride and collective achievement.

In a deeply symbolic gesture, CM Saha lit the traditional divine lamp, representing the transition from darkness to knowledge. 

He simultaneously unveiled an informative booklet highlighting TIT's latest developments and upcoming academic initiatives.


Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha delivered a compelling speech emphasizing critical aspects of technical education:


1. Urgent need for continuous adaptation in technical education

2. Importance of upskilling to meet modern technological demands

3. Forthcoming advanced courses in drone technology and artificial intelligence

4. Appreciation for governmental support in educational development


The Chief Minister highlighted TIT's commitment to staying at the forefront of technological education, ensuring students remain competitive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

The new auditorium represents more than just a physical space; it symbolizes a platform for holistic student development. Designed to host academic and extracurricular activities, the facility will encourage comprehensive student growth and engagement.


The event concluded with group photoshoots, capturing the collective excitement and optimism surrounding TIT's latest achievements.
