YOUNG INNOVATORS SHOWCASE SCIENTIFIC CREATIVITY AT DISTRICT-LEVEL CHILDREN'S SCIENCE EXHIBITION


The District-Level Children's Science Exhibition 2024-25 kicked off with remarkable enthusiasm at Umakanta Academy, bringing together young scientific minds from across Agartala to demonstrate their innovative environmental solutions.


Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumder formally inaugurated the two-day event, organized by the District Project Office, Samagra Shiksha. Alongside prominent dignitaries including West Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Balai Goswami and Corporator Jahnabi Das Chowdhury, Majumder cut the ribbon and lit the ceremonial lamp, marking the exhibition's commencement.


The exhibition showcased an impressive array of student projects focusing on critical environmental themes such as nature conservation, soil preservation, and sustainable plantation techniques. Students from various schools and colleges demonstrated remarkable creativity and scientific acumen through their meticulously designed models.


Mayor Majumder personally engaged with participants, carefully examining each project and appreciating the students' innovative approaches to addressing environmental challenges. Bio-friendly projects received special recognition, highlighting the young innovators' commitment to sustainable development.


The event serves as a crucial platform for nurturing scientific curiosity among students, encouraging them to think critically about environmental issues and develop practical solutions. By providing this opportunity, the exhibition aims to inspire the next generation of scientists, environmentalists, and problem solvers.


The District Project Office's initiative underscores the importance of hands-on learning and scientific exploration in educational development, promoting a culture of innovation and environmental consciousness among young learners.
