A friendly cricket match between the Tripura Police team and the Agartala Press Club team marked a highlight of the Tripura Police Week 2025 celebrations. The engaging encounter took place at the PTA G Cricket Ground on Friday, showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship and collaboration between law enforcement and media professionals.


The match proved to be competitive, with the Tripura Police team displaying exceptional performance to secure victory. They posted a challenging total of 154 runs, while the Press Club team fought valiantly but fell short of the target, scoring 120 runs. The contest demonstrated skill and enthusiasm from both sides, providing entertainment for spectators and participants alike.


Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan attended the event as the chief guest, along with other senior police officials, adding prestige to the occasion. Following the match, the dignitaries presented trophies and mementoes to both teams, recognizing their participation and sporting spirit.
