Thanks to Effective Police Work, Stolen Gold Jewellery Recovered and Returned



In a successful law enforcement operation, gold jewellery worth ₹5 lakhs has been recovered and returned to its rightful owners, Bhola Banik and Rakesh Saha. The valuables were stolen from their residences in October, and the case was resolved through the diligent efforts of local police.


The recovery operation was spearheaded by Sub-Inspector Shubhendu Das, who led the investigation that resulted in the arrest of three suspects. The accused individuals are currently in judicial custody facing charges related to the theft.


Following proper legal procedures and court authorization, the recovered jewellery was formally handed back to Banik and Saha. The victims expressed profound gratitude to the police department and administration for their prompt and effective response to the crime.


This successful recovery operation serves as a testament to the commitment of local law enforcement in protecting citizens' property and maintaining public safety. The swift resolution of the case not only brought relief to the affected families but also sends a strong deterrent message to potential criminals in the area.
