PM Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme: Awareness Camp Organized

Efforts to Advance the Country Towards Renewable Energy

Agartala: Awareness camps are being organized at various locations to encourage people to take advantage of the Prime Minister's Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme. On Wednesday, a one-day camp was organized at the Eastern Zonal Office of the Municipal Corporation in Ashram Chowmuhani of the capital city Agartala.

The awareness and registration camp was organized by Agartala Municipal Corporation in collaboration with the Tripura State Electricity Corporation and Tripura Urban Livelihood Mission. The camp was inaugurated by MP Rajib Bhattacharya. Also present at the event were Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation and MLA Dipak Majumder, along with other dignitaries.

Speaking at the event, MP Rajib Bhattacharya said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously working to advance India towards renewable energy. Currently, we are all dependent on natural gas and fossil fuels. In the coming days, as these natural resources gradually deplete, their prices will increase abnormally. To address this situation, the Prime Minister is leading the country towards the use of solar energy, which will benefit the common people."

Through this camp, citizens were informed about various aspects of the Prime Minister's Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme, and registration facilities were provided for interested individuals. This initiative is expected to play an important role in achieving India's renewable energy targets.
