World Theatre Day Celebrated with Procession in Agartala


To commemorate World Theatre Day, a procession was organized by Silpatirtha and Sammilita Natya Prayas in Agartala today. The procession, which began at Paradise Choumuhani, culminated at the Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan. The event brought together theatre enthusiasts, artists, and performers from across the city.

The procession was a vibrant display of colour and sound, with participants carrying placards, banners, and flags. The event aimed to promote theatre and its importance in society, while also celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Tripura.

World Theatre Day is celebrated annually on March 27 to mark the importance of theatre in bringing people together and promoting cultural exchange. The event in Agartala was a testament to the city's thriving theatre scene and its commitment to promoting the arts.
