CM Dr Manik Saha Meets Union Ministers in Delhi, Seeks Support for Tripura's Development

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, during his visit to New Delhi, held crucial meetings with two senior Union ministers—Health and Family Welfare Minister and BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah.

As per official sources, Dr. Saha paid a courtesy visit to Health Minister Shri J.P. Nadda, where he apprised him of the current status of Tripura’s healthcare sector. The Chief Minister discussed the need for further advancement of super-specialty services in the state and sought central assistance to strengthen infrastructure, medical facilities, and overall public health services. He also emphasised the importance of upgrading healthcare delivery in rural and tribal areas of Tripura.

Later, Dr. Saha met with Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and held discussions on a wide range of development initiatives undertaken by the state government. The Chief Minister briefed the Home Minister on Tripura’s progress under various centrally-sponsored schemes and sought continued guidance and support from the Centre to further accelerate the pace of development.

Dr. Saha expressed gratitude to both Union Ministers for their unwavering support and commitment to the growth of Tripura. He also conveyed optimism that the Centre’s cooperation would enable the state to achieve its developmental goals more efficiently.

These high-level meetings are seen as significant steps towards securing greater central support for Tripura, particularly in healthcare, infrastructure, and welfare schemes.
