CM Reviews Progress of Urban Drainage and Development Projects Across Wards

 


Agartala, May 2: Hon’ble Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday conducted an extensive inspection of ongoing urban development works, with a special focus on drainage systems, across wards 16, 20, and 32 in Agartala city. His visit covered areas including Town Hall, Shantipara, Kshetra Mohan School, Netaji Chowmuhani (embankment side), Netaji School, Forest Office, Howrah Riverfront Project, Singh Para, RMS Chowmuhani, Baduartali, and various parts of Ramnagar 1 to 4.

During his visit, Dr. Saha engaged with local citizens, listened to their grievances and suggestions, and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials for immediate and long-term solutions.

Accompanying the Chief Minister were Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and local MLA Shri Dipak Majumder, BJP West District President Shri Asim Bhattacharjee, and Town Bordowali Mandal President Shyamal Kumar Deb among others. The visit underscored the government’s commitment to urban development and responsive governance.
