Governor Inaugurates Hangrai Ter Festival in Khumulwng






The traditional Hangrai Ter festival, coinciding with Makar Sankranti, was inaugurated with great fanfare at Khumulwng on Sunday. Telangana Governor Shri Jishnu Dev Varma presided over the opening ceremony of this significant tribal cultural celebration, organised by Hukumumu Mukumu Bodol.

The inaugural event was attended by several distinguished personalities, including Rajya Sabha MP Shri Rajib Bhattacharjee and prominent social worker Bipin Debbarma. Their presence highlighted the festival's importance in preserving and promoting Tripura's cultural heritage.
