Bihar Day Celebrated with Cultural Fervour at Albert Ekka War Memorial






Agartala, March 22: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tripura Pradesh, celebrated Bihar Day with great enthusiasm at the Albert Ekka War Memorial today. The event, aimed at fostering cultural unity and brotherhood, was attended by dignitaries, party leaders, and supporters, who came together to honour the rich heritage and contributions of Bihar.  


Honourable Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside senior party leaders and activists. The gathering highlighted the historical and cultural significance of Bihar, showcasing its pivotal role in India's progress. Speakers at the event emphasised the state’s contributions to the nation’s development, from its historical legacy to its modern-day achievements.  


The celebration was marked by a vibrant display of cultural performances, reflecting the traditions and diversity of Bihar. Attendees were treated to folk dances, music, and speeches that underscored the importance of preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage. The event also served as a platform to strengthen the bond between communities, fostering a sense of unity and shared identity.  


In his address, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha praised the contributions of Bihar to the nation and reiterated the importance of cultural harmony in building a strong and inclusive society. He called upon the people to uphold the values of tradition, unity, and brotherhood, which are essential for the nation’s progress.  


The programme concluded with a pledge to promote cultural understanding and harmony, reinforcing the commitment to preserving India’s rich heritage. The event not only celebrated Bihar’s legacy but also strengthened the cultural ties between Tripura and Bihar, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
