East Agartala Police Arrest Two Habitual Offenders, Recover Stolen Items

 


Agartala, 20th March 2025: In a significant breakthrough, the East Agartala Police Station (PS) arrested two habitual property offenders and recovered stolen gas cylinders, cash from a temple, and a knife. The arrests were made following a specific case (No. 34/2025) registered at the East Agartala PS, highlighting the police’s continued efforts to curb rising thefts in the area.

The accused, known for their involvement in multiple property crimes, were apprehended by a team of officers and staff from the East Agartala PS. The recovery of stolen items, including gas cylinders and temple cash, underscores their involvement in a series of thefts. A knife was also seized, indicating their potential use of weapons during criminal activities.

The arrests come amid an increasing number of theft, snatching, and robbery cases in the region. However, the police have demonstrated commendable activeness in solving such crimes. In several instances, stolen items have been successfully recovered through thorough investigations, restoring a sense of security among residents.

The East Agartala PS has been proactive in addressing property-related crimes, with frequent patrols and prompt action on complaints. Their efforts have led to the recovery of stolen goods in multiple cases, showcasing their commitment to maintaining law and order.
