Date: 23 April 2025

The 41st episode of the public welfare initiative ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ was successfully conducted today at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Block in Agartala. The programme, which has been receiving wide appreciation from citizens across the state, aims to provide a direct platform for people to present their grievances and seek prompt redressal from the Chief Minister himself.

As early as dawn, citizens from various corners of Tripura gathered at the Secretariat gate, holding forms filled in anticipation of meeting Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha. After thorough verification and security checks by the police, the individuals were gradually allowed inside the premises to meet the Chief Minister in person.

This face-to-face interaction between the public and the head of the government is a rare initiative that underscores the state’s commitment to responsive governance. The CM listened carefully to concerns ranging from health issues to infrastructural deficiencies, education, employment, and social welfare. Special attention was given to medical grievances, with the CM instructing officials to take immediate steps for their resolution.

"Understanding people’s issues firsthand enables better governance. I have directed concerned departments to resolve each matter promptly, especially those related to health," the Chief Minister remarked during the session.

Several citizens expressed satisfaction over the opportunity to communicate directly with the Chief Minister. One elderly participant from South Tripura shared that his long-pending land issue was finally acknowledged and referred for priority review.

Officials from various departments were also present to note the grievances and initiate necessary follow-up actions. The entire process was conducted in a systematic manner, ensuring transparency and fairness.

‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ continues to serve as a bridge between the government and the common people, reinforcing the state’s dedication to inclusive and compassionate administration. With such proactive engagement, Tripura sets a commendable example in citizen-centric governance.
