Prabhari evaluates campaign impact; State leaders reaffirm commitment
Agartala, May 8: A key organisational meeting was held at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s state office in Agartala on Thursday under the leadership of Dr. Rajdeep Roy, BJP National Prabhari for Tripura. The purpose of the meeting was to review the party's ongoing nationwide campaigns and their implementation in the state.
Among the dignitaries present were Tripura BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee and General Secretary Bhagaban Das. The review focused on assessing outreach activities and refining strategy for maximum public engagement.
Dr. Roy, addressing media after the meeting, stated, “The campaigns being run by the BJP at a national level are critical, and Tripura is a vital part of that. As the in-charge of this state, it is my responsibility to oversee and guide these efforts.”
The campaigns under review include the drive for ‘One Nation, One Election’, proposed amendments to the Waqf Act to ensure greater transparency, and a national awareness initiative centred on the life and principles of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
“These themes are of immense national interest. They reflect the BJP’s vision of unity, reform, and social justice,” Dr. Roy remarked.
Party sources confirmed that discussions also revolved around expanding outreach to rural and tribal areas, with Dr. Roy assuring active participation during his Tripura stay.
State leaders echoed Dr. Roy’s sentiments, stating that the campaigns not only bolster ideological clarity but also help bring governance closer to the people.
The event marked a strategic push to position Tripura more firmly within the national political landscape, and to strengthen BJP’s grassroots network across the state.
