On the historic day commemorating the British departure from India, the Lutera Bharat Choro" movement was celebrated by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPIM] in Tripura. This event took place in conjunction with their Labor Union and Farmers Union, showcasing a united effort to mark this significant milestone in India's struggle for independence.


The CPIM-led celebration aimed to honor the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters who contributed to India's liberation from British colonial rule. The term "Lutera Bharat Choro" translates to "Thieves of India, Leave!" and encapsulates the sentiments of a nation that had endured colonial exploitation and oppression for generations.


The participation of the CPIM, along with its Labor Union and Farmers Union, highlighted the party's dedication to workers' rights and the well-being of the farming community.
