Safety First: Tripura Power Transmission Launches Comprehensive Electrical Worker Training Programme.





Tripura Power Transmission Limited (TPTL) conducted a significant two-day safety training programme on 9th and 10th December 2024, marking a pivotal moment in electrical worker safety and professional responsibility.


The programme reached a critical milestone when all participants took a solemn oath to prioritize safety measures and strictly adhere to established safety protocols. This collective commitment underscored the serious approach towards preventing workplace accidents and protecting human lives.


During the inaugural session, Power Minister Shri Ratan Lal Nath distributed specialized electrical tool kits to government undertaking electricians. In his emphatic address, the Minister stressed the absolute necessity of transforming safety protocols into an instinctive, crucial habit.

The event underscored TPTL's proactive approach in mitigating workplace risks. By combining systematic training, mandatory safety equipment, and a culture of collective responsibility, the organisation aims to significantly reduce potential electrical work-related accidents.

A comprehensive safety rule booklet was officially unveiled during the programme, providing detailed guidelines for workplace safety.

Recognizing that a single mistake in electrical work can be life-threatening, the programme represents a comprehensive strategy to protect workers' lives and ensure their safe return to their families.


General Manager Shri Ranjan Debvarman noted that this initiative goes beyond mere compliance, representing a fundamental transformation in workplace safety consciousness.



The two-day programme, featuring the safety manual unveiling, equipment distribution, and intensive training sessions, marks a significant milestone in Tripura's electrical infrastructure safety management.


By fostering a culture where safety becomes an intrinsic part of professional conduct, TPTL is setting a benchmark for responsible and humane workplace practices in the electrical power transmission sector.
