Minister Santana Chakma attended the closing ceremony at Shankaracharya Vidya Niketan, Unnayan Sangha in North Badharghat, Agartala, where she received a warm welcome from students. The event featured the presentation of awards to students who demonstrated exceptional talent in a dance competition focused on a specific theme.


In her address to the students, Minister Chakma emphasized the importance of following Swami Vivekananda's teachings and philosophy. She particularly highlighted the delicate balance between embracing Western advancements while preserving Indian cultural values. Quoting Vivekananda's wisdom on the perils of laziness, she stressed the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving one's goals.


The ceremony was enriched by a vibrant cultural programme featuring performances by artists from both Tripura and Kolkata, showcasing the region's rich artistic heritage. The presence of the West Tripura District Magistrate added to the event's significance.
