Tripura Hosts State Cross Country Championship 2024-25

The Tripura Athletics Association and Egiyachalo Sangha successfully conducted the State-Level Cross Country Championship 2024-25 in Agartala. The event, which started at Melarmath in front of Egiyachalo Sangha, featured competitive races across four categories, showcasing the state's athletic talent.

The championship was inaugurated by distinguished guests including Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumder, Sports School Board Secretary Apu Roy, and Deputy Director of Youth Affairs and Sports Prabal Dey. The dignitaries officially commenced the races by flagging off the participants.

The event demonstrated strong organization and competitive spirit, with athletes participating from various parts of the state. Following the races, successful competitors were honored in a prize distribution ceremony on stage. The organizers also recognized various dignitaries for their contributions to sports development in Tripura.

This championship serves as a testament to Tripura's growing focus on athletics and sports development. The collaboration between the Tripura Athletics Association and Egiyachalo Sangha highlights the effective partnership between sports organizations in promoting athletic activities across the state.
