Mega Blood Donation Camp Organized by Income Tax Department in Agartala

 


Agartala, February 21, 2025: The Income Tax Department, in collaboration with the Tripura State Blood Transfusion Council, organized a mega blood donation camp at the Income Tax Building today. The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from Deputy Commissioner Rupan Bhattacharya, along with staff from the Income Tax Department, Sports Council, PWD, Tripura Police, and the Department of Information and Culture.

This blood donation camp holds significant importance in society, especially in addressing the critical need for blood in medical emergencies and saving lives. Such initiatives not only promote a culture of voluntary blood donation but also raise awareness about the importance of contributing to the community’s health and well-being. The active participation of government departments highlights their commitment to social responsibility and sets an example for others to follow.
