Professor Arunoday Saha, a distinguished educationist and former Vice-Chancellor of Tripura University, has been honoured with the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award. President Droupadi Murmu presented the award at a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday.
Professor Saha received the award in recognition of his exceptional contributions to literature and education. Known for his academic excellence and commitment to research, Professor Saha has played a pivotal role in enriching the educational framework of Tripura and the broader northeastern region.
