TBSE Declares Early Results, Girls and South Tripura Lead the Charts

 


Agartala, April 30:

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) released the Secondary and Higher Secondary examination results earlier than usual this year, marking a high-performance trend across the state.

Pass Percentages Show Upward Trend

A total of 25,673 students passed the Secondary exam (86.53%) and 17,052 cleared the Higher Secondary exam (79.29%). Girls outnumbered boys in both participation and success.

District Toppers and Laggards

  • South Tripura ranked highest in Secondary with 92.69%

  • Sepahijala led in Higher Secondary with 87.38%

  • Khowai district recorded the lowest pass percentages in both exams.

Detailed Student Participation

  • Secondary Examinees: 29,670 (Boys: 13,861 | Girls: 15,809)

  • Higher Secondary Examinees: 21,506 (Boys: 9,920 | Girls: 11,586)

Performance Grading and School Stats

Higher Secondary:

  • A1: 228 | A2: 884 | B1: 1,811 | B2: 2,614

  • 39 schools: 100% pass | 3 schools: 100% fail

Secondary:

  • A1: 228 | A2: 806 | B1: 1,696 | B2: 2,942

  • 345 schools: 100% pass | 3 schools: 0 pass

Disabled Students Shine

Out of 166 physically challenged students, 110 cleared the Secondary exam, and 70 out of 90 passed the Higher Secondary exam.

Next Steps for Students

  • Re-evaluation requests: May 7–9

  • Supplementary exams: Scheduled within two months
