Rally Dedicated to Brave Indian Soldiers Fighting Pakistani Terrorists

Agartala, May 9, 2025: The Tripura Pradesh Congress, through its Ex-Servicemen Department, organised a “Jai Hind Yatra” in Agartala on Thursday, paying tribute to the Indian soldiers who are engaged in battling Pakistani terrorists.

The rally began from Congress Bhavan and passed through various parts of the city, drawing participation from hundreds of party workers and supporters. Senior Congress leaders, including Sudip Roy Barman and Ashish Kumar Saha, led the yatra, walking at the front and chanting patriotic slogans.

Participants carried banners and placards bearing messages honouring the sacrifices and bravery of Indian soldiers. The atmosphere was charged with nationalistic fervour as the yatra made its way through key city areas.

Speaking to reporters, Sudip Roy Barman said, “This yatra is our humble tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our armed forces. The nation stands united against terrorism, and we wanted to express that solidarity through this march.”

Ashish Saha echoed similar sentiments, stating that the Congress party has always stood with the Indian Army and will continue to raise its voice against terrorism in any form.

The yatra concluded with a brief address near Ujjayanta Palace, where leaders reiterated their support for the armed forces and condemned the menace of cross-border terrorism.
