CM Presents State Academic Excellence Awards, Urges Students to Go Beyond Conventional Learning



Agartala, 25th August 2025:
Chief Minister of Tripura, Professor Dr. Manik Saha, today addressed the bright young achievers of the state while presenting the Chief Minister’s Annual State Award for Academic Excellence – 2025, organised by the Department of School Education.

At the ceremony, meritorious students who excelled in examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were honoured with tablets as a mark of recognition and encouragement. The Chief Minister said that education is not just about scoring marks but about preparing the next generation to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.





“Students must move beyond the conventional boundaries of learning and create examples for the future. True education inspires service to society and the country,” Dr. Saha remarked. He added that the government remains committed to fostering quality education and equipping students with modern resources to compete globally.


Dr. Saha emphasised the immense value of education in shaping responsible citizens and highlighted the state’s initiatives in making education more inclusive, technology-driven, and skill-oriented. He encouraged the students to dream big, work with sincerity, and dedicate their learning for the betterment of the nation.

The event concluded with cultural performances by schoolchildren, symbolising the vibrancy and promise of Tripura’s youth.
