Agartala, August 26: In a significant step towards strengthening Tripura’s healthcare system, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha today handed over appointment letters to 45 newly appointed specialist doctors at Pragya Bhavan, Agartala.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized that the state government has been continuously working to improve healthcare, be it through manpower expansion or infrastructure development. He stated, “This appointment reinforces our commitment to providing advanced healthcare services to the people. Our journey in healthcare delivery is continuous, and there will be no full stop.”
The CM also highlighted that more opportunities will open up in the future for those who wish to contribute to the state’s health sector. The inclusion of these doctors is expected to bridge specialist shortages in key government hospitals and enhance patient care across Tripura.
The event at Pragya Bhavan was attended by senior health officials, dignitaries, and family members of the new recruits. The move reflects the government’s focus on building a stronger and more accessible healthcare network for citizens.
